Dr. Perry Mansfield, M.D.
…specializes in diseases related to Head and Neck Oncology and is a nationally recognized leader in skull base disorders. Dr. Mansfield created and developed Senta Clinic, one of the premiere centers for skull base surgery in the Southwestern United States.
He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and the Canadian Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Mansfield is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is also Chief of Staff elect, past Chief of Surgery, Chief of Skull Base Surgery, Director of Head and Neck Oncology, and Director of Speech and Swallowing Disorders.
Dr. Mansfield is the immediate past president of the San Diego County Society of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Honors include membership in the AAO/HNS, SDCMS, CMA and the North American Skull Base Society. Dr. Mansfield is Chairman and a founding Board member of the Skull Base Disease Foundation.
Dr. Michael O'Leary, M.D.
…specializes in diseases of the ear and balance. He is a nationally recognized leader in the development of minimally invasive techniques including the endoscopic removal of pituitary tumors. His skull base role is that of neurotologist, focusing on tumors of the lateral skull base such as acoustic neuromas and meningiomas. He has served as the Chief of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Naval Hospital, Newport R.I. and Chief of Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery at the Naval Hospital in San Diego.
Dr. O'Leary is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a past chairman of the Skull Base Surgery Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck surgery and has served as a consultant to the Surgeons General. Dr. O'Leary is a founding Board member of the Skull Base Disease Foundation.
James (Jim) G. Kidrick
…has served as the President & CEO of the San Diego Air and Space Museum since 2007. He has over 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and is responsible for the fundraising and management of one of our nation's most significant aero-themed institutions. The Museum is accredited by the American Association of Museums and is an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institute. Mr. Kidrick is a retired Navy Commander, and was a fighter pilot for 21 years with over 4,250 accident free hours of military flight time flying from our Navy's aircraft carriers. Mr. Kidrick is a founding Board member of the Skull Base Disease Foundation.
Bobbi Bennett, M.A.
…brings to the Foundation the perspective of the caregiver. During Steve Prewitt's fight against tonsil cancer, she was at his side. Together they faced the challenges that came from one of the many skull base diseases. On a professional level, Bobbi is a Human Resources Consultant for public agencies, is a certified mediator and a trainer. She has served as an Executive Director for various nonprofits in the San Diego area and holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology. Ms. Bennett is a founding Board member of the Skull Base Disease Foundation.
